Born and raised in Argentina, I developed a lifelong love for reading from childhood, devouring tales from Mark Twain to Homer and Shakespeare, each book a passport to distant lands and times. Breaking new ground as the first in my family to earn a college degree, I soon joined a multinational corporation. This event significantly altered my family's life since shortly thereafter, I accepted a developmental position in the U.S., which became a permanent relocation outside Argentina. My path then diverged from the literary to the corporate.
My career led to temporary assignments in Venezuela and Mexico, along with extensive business and leisure travel across the Americas, Western Europe, Japan, and parts of Asia. These experiences offered invaluable exposure to diverse cultures, values, and customs. Reading remained my preferred pastime during long journeys, and my interest soon gravitated toward fiction, particularly thrillers, mystery, and suspense novels from authors like John Grisham and James Patterson.
Upon retiring from a dynamic corporate career, I embraced the freedom to pursue long-held creative aspirations. I delved into graphite drawing before the call to write became undeniable. Though a handful of poems written in Spanish never saw publication, my debut fiction novel, Turtle Creek, Enigma of the Trail, was self-published in 2020. Encouraged by the unwavering support of family and friends, I've published seven books since then.
My passion lies in developing fictional narratives rich with suspense and unexpected conclusions. I envision readers actively engaging with the clues, attempting to unravel the mystery alongside the characters, which is why my stories often feature a cast of suspicious individuals. The act of writing a book is like watching a movie unfold in my mind as new threads of imagination intertwine to create a captivating experience. I typically begin with a dramatic event, then allow the narrative to unfurl organically, often discovering the ending only as I write—a delightful unpredictability I hope readers share.
